Global Rift Event

As the season changes and we start thinking about our halloween costumes, it’s a great opportunity to look back at what we were up to in October last year. WR was transformed into a scene straight out of the Upside Down for the incredible "Global Rift Event", celebrating the latest season of Stranger Things.

The event, a finalist for the Shorty Awards in the ‘Event & Experimental’ category, invited fans to decipher coordinates posted online in order to discover each portal opened into the Upside Down, with 15 locations stretching across the globe, from Milan to Krakow, Mumbai to Shoreditch.

The space was buzzing as fans from around the world gathered to immerse themselves in the spooky atmosphere inspired by the hit show. It was thrilling to see our venue transformed into a truly unique immersive experience, bringing together fans and creators in a setting that brought the supernatural into the real world.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making it happen, and to the great Stranger Things community who joined us for a night full of chills and thrills.
